Cashu-Address is a protocol layered ontop on two seperate protocols: the Bitcoin Lightning Network and Cashu eCash.
It enables a web server to receive Lightning payments for a user and to then mint eCash in cooperation with the user's chosen custodian. Thanks to Cashu's P2PK, this eCash can be locked to a public key and becomes unspenable without a signature generated by the user's private key.
